Q: Will history from the Yellow Online Performance reports be carried over to the new report?
A: Unfortunately due to the changes to the data we are now capturing we will not be able to merge the historical data within the new reports. To look at past results the old reports are available via your Media Sales Advisor.
Q: Why does the reporting only start from April?
A: Our new online reporting platform launched in April, so will capture data starting from April onwards.
Q: Is data from Google included in the report?
A: No, we do not include Google appearance metrics in the APR. However, any visits to the advertiser’s Yellow Pages® Business Profile Page as a result of finding it via Google will be reportable. Also, if the advertiser participates in the metered ad program, their metered number may appear in a Google search result or Google Places page and phone calls to that metered number will also be reportable.
Q: Where does the send to GPS event originate from?
A: Send to GPS is a feature of the whereis.com website. You can send listing details to the following GPS devices: Garmin, Mio, Navman, Pioneer, TomTom, Uniden, and the Whereis Navigator.
Q: Why does my print product get digital statistics? What is effective product selection?
A: Your print ad can is distributed across our Yellow Pages® Search network and thus can get user engagement outside of the book that we can measure and report to you. The way in which we determine which of your ads from the book is chosen is known as Effective Product Selection.
Q: What is Effective Product Selection?
A: Effective product selection is a process used by Yellow Pages® Online to select a print product for online display when there is no online ad for the business and the business is eligible to have their print ad repurposed online under Sensis’ advertising rules. The selection process uses business name, address and online category to uniquely identify a print ad. If there is more than one ad with the same details, then the largest ad is chosen to be displayed online. If any of the listing information across those three attributes is different, the ad is considered unique and is displayed online.
For example, if Business A has the same address but is listed in two headings/categories, you will see two listings for that ad. If, on the other hand the name, address and category are all the same, only the full page display ad (the larger ad) will be shown online.
Q: When will Yellow Pages® Value Package reporting begin?
A: When the digital component of the package goes live, reporting will begin for the Yellow Pages® Value Package purchased.

Q: Is the YP Extended Reach Network covered in the reports?
A: Yes, it is. However, not all sites and channels within the Yellow Pages® Extended Reach Network are included. For example, we do not currently get data from Google and the Yellow Pages® iPad application is not included yet.
Q: What is the estimates column in the detailed report?
A: For some sites and channels, reporting data is not available for the current reporting month. For these sites and channels, the data we use in the APR is based on the previous reporting month. However, we adjust the results in subsequent reports after we have received the data.
Q: Are Sensis IP's excluded from the reporting?
A: Yes, Sensis employee IP's will be excluded from the APR. However, if a Sensis employee uses Yellow Pages® data outside of a Sensis IP (i.e. when not logged in via VPN, via a Telstra mobile), then these events cannot be excluded.
Q: How are we ensuring data is accurate?
A: We have a large number of quality assurance controls and a quarantining process in place to ensure that when reports are released, they meet the data standards we require.
Q: Why are we unable to measure Facebook and Twitter clicks from the BPP?
