Metering your ad lets you know if your Yellow Pages® ad is working

There's an effective way of finding out if your ad in the Yellow Pages® Book or Yellow Pages® Online is working. It's called the Yellow Pages® Metered Ad Program and it's a simple way to measure the effectiveness of your ad. It tracks calls that can be directly attributed to your advertisement(s) using a unique phone number.

You'll have access to monthly reports that make it easy to tell the value you're getting from your investment. You can also talk to your Media Sales Advisor at any time about the results.

Keep in mind, though, different customers contact businesses in different ways. However, the report doesn't cover 'walk in' customers who look up your address or those who find your name in the Yellow Pages® and then visit your website.

Here's how the Metered Ad Program works:

  1. Customers find you in the Yellow Pages® Book or via your Yellow Pages® Online listing and call your unique metered number.
  2. The call comes through to your business number, and as long as it's not interrupted, we will automatically log each call and store the data in the Sensis database.
  3. All call results will feature in your Advertiser Performance Report, making it easy for you to monitor the effectiveness of your Yellow Pages® advertising and your return on investment. To access your Advertiser Performance Report click here.
